Engagement and HR service desk

Keep people informed, listen to them and help them quickly. Announcements, surveys and recognition live in one feed, and every question or concern becomes a case with an owner and a deadline.

  • Announcements, engagement and recognition
  • HR helpdesk, grievances and employee relations

What it solves

The everyday problems this part of HR4ON takes away.

  • Important notices lost in e-mail, with no proof they were read.
  • Survey results that could identify individuals.
  • Recognition that happens only once a year.
  • HR questions answered late, and sensitive cases handled in the open.

Key capabilities

  • Communications

Announcements, policy notices, news, events and alerts for chosen audiences, with approval, scheduling, expiry, pinning and a mobile preview.

  • Acknowledgements

Ask people to confirm they have read an announcement, and see delivery and acknowledgement by department.

  • Surveys

Anonymous or identified surveys with a minimum group size, so small groups are never shown. Anonymous answers have no link to the person.

  • Kudos and awards

Instant kudos linked to your values, a recognition wall, and award programmes with nominations and review. Monetary awards can be paid through payroll.

  • HR requests

Employees ask HR, raise payroll queries or policy questions and follow replies from their phone. Replying reopens a resolved case.

  • Service levels

Response and resolution targets per category. The clock pauses only for allowed reasons, and overdue cases escalate automatically.

  • Confidential cases

Grievances and harassment complaints go to a restricted case team. Harassment complaints can be anonymous. Evidence is kept with a custody trail and an access log.

  • Case assistant

Summarise a case or draft a reply from approved reply texts. It uses only what the case worker can already read.

How it works

  1. Publish

Write an announcement, choose the audience and channel, get it approved and schedule it.

  2. Listen

Run a survey, protect small groups, and read results by group with recurring themes.

  3. Recognise

Give kudos any day; nominate for awards that are reviewed and, if you choose, paid through payroll.

  4. Resolve

Requests arrive in the service queue with an SLA. Case workers take, reply, escalate and resolve them.

Who uses it

  • HR teamsPublish communications, run surveys and award programmes, and work the service queue.

  • ManagersGive kudos and nominate colleagues for awards.

Questions

Can a manager see a grievance about them?

No. Grievances and harassment complaints go to a confidential case team, not to the manager. People with a conflict of interest can be excluded.

How are survey answers protected?

Anonymous answers have no link to the respondent, and results are hidden for groups smaller than the minimum you set.

Can recognition include money?

Yes. An award programme can include a monetary reward that is paid through payroll with its pay component and tax treatment.
